How to wash an Army Duffle bag?

The duffle bag that was issued to me from supply (surprise surprise) smells like the usual vomit and stagnant smell that lots of my gear smells like. However I don't want all my friggin uniforms smelling like that when I put them in there, so I was wondering what you all do to get rid of the damn terrible smells

Washing machine. Use a laundry mat and not your own as the buckles might chip the porcline or dent the aluminum.

    fabreeze…………Let it air out

If you have a clothes line. Turn it inside out and let it air out. If that doesn’t work wash it at the laundromat, but don’t dry it in the dryer. It might shrink. Hang to dry.

Commercial laundry mat w/ a strong detergent.
Add some good smelling fabric softener n wallahhhhhh. Do NOT dry in machine!

Go to a laundry mat that has those really big washers. Use plenty of detergent and Fabric Softener. Tumble dry on high heat. When dry hang it up outside somewhere in the fresh air and spray the heck out of it with some Febreeze. Maybe spray it more then once inside and out. Give it plenty of time to air out. If this doesn’t work rewash adding some lemon juice or viniger to the wash cycle.

Wash it inside out at a laundry mat! use some Shout! or Spray and Wash. I was all my stuff if possible, scrub and air dry most. The duffles can go in the dryer, but have other stuff in with it so the closing hook doesn’t make a racket.

Carwash. Hang it on the clips used for floor mats. Hit it inside and out. Leave it out to air dry and Febreeze the hell out of it.
