Army enlistees – What is the Future Soldier Kit?
It says I should have one (presumably from my recruiter), and I've heard rumors about an ACU bag with some Velcro on it for a name tape. I don't know what's in this kit, or where I'm supposed to get it, but I don't have it and I think I need it. Any more information on the content or location of these mysteries packages would be appreciated.
Thank you for the info on ACUs, but I'm talking about a BAG (i.e. backpack, duffel, etc) that I've heard mentioned as part of the Future Soldier Kit.
Your future soldiers kit is really just the papers from MEPS and things you write down while you’re learning. That’s it.
ACUs already use velcro with their name tapes
its basicly a back pack with dumb army stuff on it. i got one and its nothing special, youll use before you go to let people know your joining the army. getting a good enlistment bonus is alot more important than any dumb merchandise your recruiter gives you
